Has anyone had to replace front suspension parts on an S8 with 30k miles? I think it is links and bushings. I also might need new plugs. I have a rough idle after cold start for about 3 minutes. I think this is all covered, but what happens later.

Thanks,
D

to replace upper bushings if cracked/worn/noisy.

There may be one on early FSI motors for start up too. I'm recalling it was for 4.2's, but may have been V10's too.

In addition to plugs, it can be gummed up fuel system and vacuum leaks. Think about air filters too. At least on my W12 with the dual air boxes it's every 30K. Under Audi maintenance if you bought/got it; I try to clean mine in between too; both motors take in serious air flows, though minimal at idle of course.
