Does anyone have the amber reflectors on the front bumper in clear? I recently smoked mine and not 100% pleased with it...better than amber but would prefer clear ones..I don't care for the euro strips which is what I seen folks on the forum do. Any info on where I can get clear ones would be greatly appreciated...I googled, searched...no luck so far.

I looked for a long while and never found another option to smoking, and decided the deletes were worth it when I did the S8 bumper....

might ping rich @oemplus - he has a pretty good handle on things avail for our cars.

Where are you in S FL ?

Another option is to get the reflectors painted body color, I ended up doing this while waiting to order the euro bumper strips that CovertW12 advised, but ended up being satisfied with the painted reflectors and never ordered the euro bumper strips.

I'm in West Palm...It's smoked for now...let's see how I feel about that for little while...worse case I guess I'll have no choice but to match the car color. THANKS!!

I saw them and from the forums that is the only upgrade available. $180 plus painting it??...I like nischal's idea..just paint over the reflector...gives the same look and saves me $180. I'll keep looking for clears though...there has to be something out there that's at least compatible for the D3 ugle ambers.

Topic resurrection!!!

Were clear lenses ever made for the D3 amber corner reflectors? I've poked around on google and all I found was this thread!

I just painted over mine, and it looks pretty damn clean. Highly recommended solution.

When the lights are on you don't see any illumination from it though right? I'd like to preserve the light source, just have it be clear and white.

My question is why would you want to defeat the purpose of them being an amber reflective surface? When parked at an end space in a dark parking lot/garage for example. They are required as part of a DOT/FMVSS regulation. I guess I'm missing something.

That is why I don't really want to paint it body color. In the parking lot scenario you described a clear reflector would still reflect light back at on-coming drivers.

I cannot help you with your query about clear lenses, but Euro / Aus spec does not have them at all.

Looks much 'cleaner' without them though so I can understand why the guys paint them.

It cleans up the look of the car. If you are going for the Euro look, these are two big ugly orange pieces that must go. I agree with wanting the clear reflectors, you could still load them with orange lights and also have the benefit of the reflectors.
