my car is in the body shop getting the bumper installed and painted. We first did a test fit after removing the exhaust tips/extensions. The remaining short outlet pipes welded to the mufflers were the right length to end just short of the rear of trapizoidal bumper inserts like the W12 pipes do. And they were located exactly in the center of the insert openings horizontally. But the pipes were 1 inch too low vertically to line up with the opening of the inserts where they need to be in order to blow the exhaust through.

Trimming a bracket and relocating a hanging stud allowed each muffler to be raised an inch without touching the heat shield. Doing the bumper and fixing existing quarter damage should tkae a week. I'll post photos if anyone wants to see them. Anyone need a perfectly good 4.2 bumper?
