Default Hello Everyone............I've missed you all.....

Well I'm happy to report that UR-Idiot Savant-S6 is not dead. Once the forum format changed I took it upon myself to stay off the computer for a long time and enjoy lots of time with my family. The Avant is fine.......still obtaining parts for that one big day but as you can imagine the free cash for my project is less than before due to the economy. No biggie.....it will just be a bit longer before I can go ape. Hope everyone is well........did I miss anything major in the last 6 months?

Marc

Hey Marc:

Good to see you....

Not much here has changed. Dave is still grumpy.
Smart asses still abound.

oh, and I wrecked and repaired my car, only to have it wrecked again...

Default Was wondering where you'd gone. I bought your cars' twin.

In fact I'm fairly certain our cars shared a boat ride with each other.. Build date 11/95.

"Boxflares" also made a neato discovery that the cars are not "pearl white" in 95.5, but rather Magnolia Pearl Effect.. Thus why the cars look so yellow next to the earlier pearl cars. A storybook ending really.. ;-)

Hope you had a relaxing time away with the fam..

NICE find Schroeder........and yes with that build date they would have been very close. How many miles on that bad boy? Looks great. Funny about the pearl color.........makes sense since I've noticed that "yellowish" tint when sitting next to an early URS4 in Pearl.

219K young... Been playing catchup on the maintenance since March bigtime however. It's my daily and we have most of the bugs worked out finally.. Not nearly as cherry as yours, being that this car has seen the paint booth multiple times, but overall, for a daily, it's a 5 footer in terms of condition in / out..

Good for you......keep her running forever!! Looks great in that photo.

Mine is so sad..........driven a total of 23 miles all summer. No time lately to enjoy it..........hell I forgot to renew the registration so now she's homebound. Hope to get he rest of the parts I need this winter and go in for surgery spring 2010.
So she'll just sit in the garage again and rest with a weekly drive around the block to keep the fluids moving.
