Just wondering if there is any other hardware that is not in the headlight assembly for the adaptive functions or anything else in the Xenons? I do have Vagcom if it is needed. Thanks, MGH

View Full Version : Are Xenon headlights a bolt in replacement for Halogens on a '08? hahnmgh63 08-17-2009, 08:28 PM Just wondering if there is any other hardware that is not in the headlight assembly for the adaptive functions or anything else in the Xenons? I'm unsure where the balasts are stored within the B8 (either in the assembly or outside) for the HIDs. I've seen people do this conversion, but I doubt it's a simple bolt on. Some rewiring is most likely involved. Alkivar 08-18-2009, 12:46 PM Everything electrical is different. Alkivar 08-23-2009, 01:51 PM started mid year... 2008-mid 2008 was B7, 2008.5 - ???? is B8 |
