The manual states the glove compartment is illuminated and I can see where the light is inside, but I have yet to see the light come on in mine. I have tried with every combination of headlight setting as well as interior lighting setting, at night and during daytime. I even placed a call to my dealer who said he would look into it. Is there something I am missing, or is it likely defective (fuse/bulb perhaps)?

What's amusing is that the manual give instruction about how to open and close the glove compartment, but states nothing about the lighting except that it is illuminated.

Mine is illuminated; open the glove box, light comes on. Have it looked at by service.

Will have to do that.
