Just wonder what is Audi putting into the Q5 for 18" tires, Continental CrossContact LX Sport or Dunlop Grandtrek Touring A/S. Both are listed under oem tires for the Q5 and from what I understand, the Continental is a much better tire.

I had Conti on my wife SUV and I really like the ride.

Mine came with Michelins.

If I am correct, Michelins only come with the 19" option.

edwyun, those are Michelins on 18" rim, are you from the US, if so, what region? I can’t tell by the picture, but are those Michelin latitudes?

Yes, I am in the US (NYC/Northern NJ area).
Yes, they are the Michelin Lattitude Tour HP's.

I wonder if Audi started to ship 2010 Q5s with the Michelin Lattitude Tour HP in the Northeast. I am keeping my fingers cross :)

flogsta, edwyun, do you have the prestige package? How do you guys like the Michelin Latitude, it is suppose to be a replacement for the cross terrain which was a great tire.

GMan:
My 2009 is a premium plus.
While I don't have anything to really compare the Michelin Latitudes to (other than the Michelin LTX's on some trucks/SUV's), I really like them on the Q5 for traction/grip. I have to try real hard in a tight turn to make them squeal. Plus, UMHO, they are relatively low noise for a light truck/crossover tire (at least when new!).
Rain and some grass/dirt trails were fine. But I'll reserve judgment until the winter season hits.

Canadian MY2010. We do not have Prestige and stuff ;-)
Like EDWYUN, can not compare it since I never had tires like that. However, so far I can not complain (other than my uncertainty with the tire pressure - see other posts). Same here.. low noise. I will for sure drive them until the end ;-)

I forgot that the Prestige comes with 19" rims and tires.
