So I'm about to lease either a 2009 or 2010 prem plus and wondering your opinion. The '10 is just a few hundred more (total) than the '09. They are the same color, same options (except maybe mats). As far as the noted changes, I could care less about the dimming mirror/compass, I like the memory seats, Concert v. Symphony not a big deal, LED tail lights are cool but not a biggie. What would you guys do?

Choose whichever similarly equipped vehicle gives you the best overall lease terms.
The primary differences bewteen '09 and '10 are:
No 3.2 available for '10 and 3G Nav in the '10.
If you don't care about either and are leasing, it's a toss up.

I just bought a 2009 via finance and am very happy. The lease payment was not much less and wasn't worth the hassel.

Definitely 2.0T and no nav. Terms are really about the same, $9 less a month for '10, but $600 more down. $400 difference overall. They are from different dealers.

If the 09 is $400 less overall, I'd say go for it. Its got more features compared to the '10. Also the less you spend on the lease, the better if you intend on turning it in at lease end.

Agreed. If it's $400 less go with the '09. No sense paying more for a car with less options in comparison even if the "options" aren't a factor for you. This coming from a person in a 2010 :)

resale value on a 10 will be higher, something to consider
I would definitely get the '09 especially if your not getting NAV.... memory seats, auto dimming mirror are more important to me than the LED taillights

Well the '09 just got 'neaked out from under me, so the dealer is looking for another in trade. It may HAVE to be a 2010. Oh well, could be worse.

It's crazy but true. Those features have been removed for MY 2010. The 2010 does get the led tail lights which are pretty cool in my opinion. If I didn't drive a manual I wouldn't have minded losing the memory seats but oh well.
