Do we really nead drive select? If so don't you lose the real driving experience with S line... I have no idea?!
Please, any info to understand it better at $2000+ extra cost would be appreciated!
Bottom line: I've not added drive select to my Q5 P+! Should I be worried about it?
Thanks!:)

I got it, because I bought one in stock... later I test drove one without it and I'm glad I paid the extra 2k... absolutely worth every penny. The one without it felt like I was driving a van, whereas when I kick it into sport/dynamic mode I feel like I am driving a race car. It came in handy a few times where I had to kick it into high gear and didn't use the manual mode.
If you can spare the extra 2k, then go for it... especially if you are getting the S-Line.... I had two choices... Sline w/o DS at one dealer or premium with DS.... no regrets... ( on that choice)

For North America, S-Line suspension is same as non S-Line. We don't get the sport shocks/springs or S-line seats. The ride/handling would only change because of the 20" wheels and performance tires. Personally I am very happy with ADS. 'Comfort' mode is great to smooth out the 20" ride quality, and 'Dynamic' is good for spirited driving. I only wish (like others have mentioned) that the mode would remain where set even after re-starting the car.
The Q5 has been already on the ship to US! I'll be getting it delivered Sep 14(Scheduled...). Is that possible to add drive select after buying it?
Thanks,

No.
Do you think that I'm going to miss DS much? :(

No.
Personally, I can get the Q5 driving like a bat out of hell, and I don't have drive select, the only option I didn't get. Frankly, when you punch this car hard, it responds. If that isn't enough for you, move it to the S sport mode, and the car is a rocket ship. Trust me, I drove it very hard today on Storrow drive in Boston, a race car driver's dream track for those that don't know. Twisted, curvy, narrow, up and down in parts, great time indeed! The more I drive this car the more I can't stand parking it for the night. I've owned A4's and an A6 2.7twin turbo, and this car is no slouch when punched.
