Is the engine start-stop feature included on the US manual A4s? How about the regenerative breaking?

I read in a different thread that it wasn't be released here in the States and it seems very strange. Why wouldn't they include it?

Coz the consumers in the US don't care about fuel comsumption as much as the rest of world ?

It's a shame as those guys with in in their MY2010's are saying it works really well.
