Our week-old 2010 A4 6MT has a very odd interior rattle. At freeway speeds, a rattling sound can be heard coming from inside the dash... sounds like it is coming from behind the Nav screen or the climate control panel. Here's the weird part: It only happens when the car is in 6th gear, and the rattle can be made to stop by applying gentle rearward pressure on the shift lever.

Applying pressure to the center console or the leather shift boot or any part of the dash will not stop the noise... only pulling back a bit on the shifter.

Anyone else experiencing this?
