Has anyone installed the crossbars on the Q5? I read somewhere that it catches a lot of wind noise when you drive. Is it true?

Mine were on when I got it. I don't really notice any more noise at all. I don't always have them on, but when driving to the mountains I have had them on and they were fine.

I took the crossbars off because of the noise. Not sure I noticed it with the sun roof closed but with it open they caused noise.

I had mine on yesterday and the noise was driving me crazy. It was just a little windy and I was driving ~ 60mph. The sunroof and the cover were closed.
