Just heard back from Audi Customer Service that Gala Plus is the same as VNC. I read about VNC in the MMI but the actual menu refers to GALA Plus. Basically this is speed-dependent volume control and in addition uses a microphone to adjust volume/eq based on outside noise (such as rain, rough roads etc). I don't think it is actually active noise-cancelling, just some sort of compensation. Would appreciate if anyone has any more info on this to post!
