I wondered myself? Went to look up his Meteor Grey S Line for a poster and his posts were all gone. Last I saw of his posts he was getting into an argument (name withheld), not sure if he got pissed off by it.

I am wondering too where his posts went. That is disappointing because he had some really good advice. I remember that I sent him a quick personal message and asked him how he is doing? In his reply he mentioned 'that he is done' with the board.

I need those instructions he posted in great detail about how to use the computer program to modify some of the behavior of certain Q5 default settings, which are not available to the normal front-end MMI screens. UGGHHH!!! This forum is ridiculous if it doesn't restore those. Guys, what the hell are we all here for if not for good detail like that?

If you're talking about VAG-COM modifications, there are instructions in a few places on the Web. Most have been written for the A4 or A5 but the options/instructions are pretty similar for the Q5.

They are not the same, and he had posted the exact changes needed to achieve basic important tasks that we all want to do. Unreal. When you're talking messing with software, those instructions were the warm blanket I needed to do only what i needed to do, and get out of there. Ridiculous!

Moderators: if this guy ticked you off, then fine, but don't punish your loyal posters just because somebody had a bad day. The information he had posted was just about the most valuable thing on this site...this is NOT how you breed confidence in your site forums.

Maybe he was pissed enough to ask the mods to remove all his posts. I can see his point. Why be helpfull if certain people are going to give him crap after all he tried to do for us here.

The above is his first post on the subject, including instructions for Advanced Key functions.

There are other posts there as well describing the process for other things like instrument settings like gauge sweep, blinking DRL fix, etc.

It is possible that the mod's didn't delete his posts but that he requested them deleted...I will retract my earlier negative judgement I suppose for now.

To bad, he was one of the best contributor to this thread. No offence to all of as rest, but his knowledge of Audi product is amazing.

I know there's at least one RS4 person planning on doing eu delivery of a Q5. You should maybe start a thread if you didn't see what you wanted.

Miwa, it's not what I wonted - it's no one post there anything in the last few month - at the same time Volvo and BMW forums full of threads of ppl who go there or in Europe or back from Europe and post their stories and pictures.
If economy that bad that no one go to pick new Audi in Germany, why BMW ED forum so boomed with user posting pictures and telling their stories.
