I placed my order in early July, the car is in production and scheduled to start crossing the Atlantic perhaps October 3rd. I got tiptronic & prestige package. With these cars due to start hitting the states as soon as next week I'd love to see something on Audi's website and know for sure what this is going to cost me.

My dealer wants a $1k refundable deposit (state law). I am going to wait a month or two to see what the allocations look like. I want to take delivery in the spring.

I was told by my dealer that they were basically selling out of their allocation for the model year right away. I'm sure it might have been partially pressure, but during my initial research I did see that only so many 2010 S4s were going to make it to the states.

I talked to the owner of the dealership and he stated that they dont require deposits and that he would make sure the sales staff knew that. They placed my order without any deposit, return customer for third S4 might have some affect.

and I'm going to have the dealer swap the triple 5 spokes for A5 S-line Y spokes

I placed a 1000 down payment on my RS4...refundable...search for a new dealer, its worth the drive..

I did a $500 refundable deposit on mine. That was with a custom color as well (suzuka grey). Definitely shop around, I tried 5 dealers before I found one who was willing to deal.

$500 refundable deposit here too - taking delivery on 8/31 - can't wait.

Stopped by my dealer today. They were saying end of October when I ordred, now end of November. :( That's about as long as I want to wait otherwise I will be putting snow tires on the day I pick it up!

Are you planning on buying outside of the NA market and importing?
The NA S4 is not coming over as an Avant as far as Audi has said officially (at this point in time).
