I installed my Kufatec comfort hatch module with painstaking precision this afternoon, but I was very disappointed that it did not work at all. The hatch works just like before, but pressing the unlock key twice does nothing for the rear hatch. Any ideas why it may not be working? I have sent an email to Kufateck asking for help.
The VIM module also does not work. The little red LED just blinks slowly when I plug it in, indicating that the "interface is locked". Needless to say I am not very impressed with Kufatec. If anyone else has used these items before and have advice, it would be very much appreciated!

did you try click click not clickclick? Have you installed it on the left motor?

my VIM worked fine.... turned on ignition for 30 seconds. plugged VIM into diagnostics port waited about 30 seconds... unplugged it. All working as advertised.

Suggest you email them, it worked fine for me and this was after the latest MMI upgrade.

You guys know if the guy who is giving away the software to allow you to do the VIM mode yourselves right? If you have a VAG or can find someone in your area here http://www.vagtoolfinder.com/ this should save you some cash ... for those who already have the cable ... can't help there ;)
