Presumably a paint colour but from my "library" not an UrS colour. I stand to be corrected (with suitable proof).

Per KATE (and Audi) my 95.5 S6 Avant's paint color, which I'd always thought was just a slightly different Pearl White than the earlier cars, is actually "Magnolia Pearl Effect"- color code 0B9, sales code D4. This appears to be a 96 only color- 95 and earlier were "Pearl Effect White Metallic", color code 0A9, sales code C9, and 97 and up went to Casablanca White (no more Pearl or Magnolia available).



I'd never heard of it before- I was trying to order touch up paint and the dealer kept telling me that per my VIN the correct color was "Magnolia"- I thought he was making it up.

Who'd a thunk? (I bought my first S-car, a Pearl/Ecru 92, back in 95)

Cyclamen will always be the rarest (in NA, anyway), but it's probably a pretty close fight between Europe Blue and Magnolia for #2 just given the limited pool of 95.5's to begin with. Even more bizarre is the fact that I ended up with one of each- my 95.5 Sedan is Europa Blue.

You have a 97 UrS brochure? You so have to PDF that for me. Unless you want to sell it..... ;-)

It's taken years and many $100's to acquire the "Library". Not selling anything. Still acquiring, when possible.

but since there was never officially a 96 S6 in the US, the 96 brochure doesn't include the S6. I'll have to dig it out and see if it lists Magnolia paint as an available option for the A6- it should. The other odd thing is how short the 96 color list is compared to other years.

Presumably they had them in Canada, though- is your 97 brochure Canadian market or European?

Or can you just get the info from the VIN? My Avant's pearl (build date 11/95) is a weird variation (I think anyways) from the usual as well..
