Default boost gauge install

recently received an a-pillar dual gauge pod, with a boost and a/f gauge. i installed a boost gauge on my b5 a4, so i know the general ins and outs. but i was curious where i tap into the vacuum on the i-5 engine? also is there a good place to tap the ground wire? and should i plug in the power cords? i stfa for a little bit and found stuff for b5 b6 b7, even c5s but nothing for the c4. anybody know where to find this stuff out? thanks.

Default If you search within this forum, You'll find a lot of info here:

That being said, in my S4 I attached the vacuum line to the line that goes to the ECU just past the dryer.

I've heard of other people tapping in down by the ECU. I guess it is preference.

I tapped into the ashtray light for the light. That makes it work with the rheostat for the dash lights.
