Default looking for new shoes

instead of buying four new tires, i am thinking of upgrading to 18s or 19s ( i would take either if the price works)

i have found a set of 19x8.5 for sale for a sweet deal, will they fit the s6 avant? will they need spacers? help?!

19s are a little too big for the UrS IMO. Go 18"

Yeah 19's would not do well... they might look good, but if you are a fan of actually driving your car, you would quite unhappy with those!

Offset is the biggest concern. For 18x8, 35mm is good. I'm not sure what offset is ideal for 8.5" wide rims. Tire size will also be a factor for rub. With the proper offset you can go as wide as 255 as long as the tires are very close to the OEM diameter of about 24.9". A 255/35/18 tire is slightly bigger than OEM (25.0") A 245/35/18 is slightly smaller than OEM (24.8")
