I just replaced my CC unit, how do you erase the error code memory?

Default I just replaced my CC unit, how do you erase the error code memory?
From Channel 1 that is. I have the writeup with all the error codes, etc but I couldn't find a way to reset the memory. Even leaving the CC unit unplugged for a while doesn't seem to help.
Any suggestions?

In my experience it just goes away after a while
