Several of my coolant hoses are on their last leg and will need replacement very soon. I found that 034 motorsports sells a silicone hose set for the coolant system on my S6. Was just curious if anyone here has already made that purchase and what your thoughts were.

The silicone stuff is nice, but be prepared to buy the appropriate hose clamps to ensure a good seal.

Rubber hoses are good for 100k+ miles if you get good ones. My stock hoses went until 140k, when I decided to replace them all!

My friend had the similar problem on silicone coolant hoses.

getting the good clamps still could not fix the problem though.
