Default Rear suspension parts re: sway bar

To do a rear sway bar with OE parts, you need a rear cross member from a 92 S4 or VERY early (Aug 92) 93 S4 with a rear sway bar or an S6 avant rear cross member. Then you need the sway bar itself plus the various bushings and clamps and end links and brackets. If you are doing it 100% stock, then you will need the rear hub carriers from the same car as the rear cross member. Otherwise, you can drill and tap the hub carriers from your non-rear sway bar car.

See the diagrams.

Default Sweet. Thanks Dave.

What bushings and other parts should be replaced?

#10 on the first image, plus the end links. On the end links, the Meyle replacement is poor quality, which is no where near OEM quality. Try and find a good used end link.

I opted for that 08/92 early '93 route and let the factory install it ;-)

Lol. Don't have any taken yet.
Just imagine your typical allroad, then imagine it w/ a 6spd instead of the auto that 90% have.

It's just a stock black allroad, so far. The 1st mod I hope to do is a reverse 402 mod. Trick the suspension into going higher (normally folks trick into going lower).
Derrick_K saw it @ Burien, maybe he can input more imganitive description.

It may come down w/ the S4 for Sfest west, though everything is up in the air for now as we've already done too many road trips in the last few weeks.

For now the S4 is still daily driver until I get the form 2 so I can go to Can Tire for insp, then BC OOP, then get winter prep done ( on board trickle charger & oilpan heater).
Plus I don't want to stop driving the S4, lol. I can really notice the '92 spec suspension difference after driving 3000+ miles in the ar for 2 different road trips.

Typical allroad. Very dirty but typical lol.

It is still a nice car that sits really high off of the ground. I can't imagine seeing it any higher.

Yeah, I should have done a better job washing the car after coming up from Cali. Bug count was even worse by the time I got home.

Lol. When it was parked @ Burien it was @ lvl 4 (the highest), so that wasn't normal driving height. I can probably only get it 10mm higher comfortably on the stock airbags/suspension.
