When pricing comes out that will really tell you. I've got a pair of them inbound with it so hopefully i'll get to try it before they're gone. But I doubt it.

Well, unless she will drive it hard to make it of any use of it...why bother? I see lots of AMG, S, and M cars putting around DC...with old dudes and women driving them, that I doubt ever actually spin them up for a fun ride. I don't mean track days either, I take my S4 on local backroads all the time....ony see bikes, STi's, Evo's, a Z or two, maybe a Porsche...out having fun with me. Even on highway ramps...they (S, AMG, and M cars) are putting around, which in itself is dangerous trying to merge into traffic with a clear shot...

Is the car truly for the wife, or is it a 2nd car for yourself? :)

Yes, yes, and yes, esp if you track it or drive quickly in canyons.

Considering an A5 2.0T quattro + MTM Stage II with ADS and the sport differential to replace her 320 cabrio.

The sport differential is so much more than a limited slip diff, it actively transfers power to the correct wheel across the same axle.
