Is the filling capacity 1.3lbs? I see a number of threads indicating this amount but I believe that is for the R134 systems. I am hoping to go get an evac and refill but need to know so they don't overfill the system.

Well they said they got out a little less than 2lbs, put 2lbs in and it works great. He said it should take a little less than 2lbs but R12 comes in 1lb bottles and he can't be exact about what goes in.

So after having one shop tell me my compressor was dead (because they blew the fuse) and that it was already full, my A/C problems appear to be resolved. For reference these were my other A/C woe posts:
