Seriously, tell us about those guns. Did you get that AR 15 before the prices went sky-high or was it an AK you purchased. I purchased an AR after the last election(they're about $500 higher now). I was able to get my hands on some spare parts kits before they dried up. I was really suprised at how the ammo disappeared, people are hoarding serious amounts of ammo. Not to be outdone, I doing what I can to stock ammo for my AR and pistols (can't ever have enough). What about accessories for those ARs? Anything new or MUST HAVE?. Hey, Pictures if you got em...

Guns are dangerous. I'm very glad that the government wants to make it more difficult for me to defend myself since they so considerately placed an armed officer at my front door. No more worries as police can get to my house before an attack can happen even if the aggressor is already in my house. AMAZING!!!!

What does the state want you sit the bad guys down and give em coffee or maybe try to re-educate them. Our "Castle Doctrine" allows to protect ourselves at home, work, and even in our cars and trucks. I wish you the best in NH waking up and allowing people a CHOICE to protect themselves without worry of going to jail.

Yeah. In TX, apparently you can use deadly force even if not in imminent danger of bodily harm.

I believe they are the only one who feel that way.

In those states with the "Castle Doctrine" you do not have the provision "the duty to retreat". I other words when someone breaks into your home you are not requied to retreat to somewhere else then, IF you're are cornered and can't escape THEN, you COULD use "Deadly Force". So, when your confronted by a bad guy who wants to do you harm you are "Justified" in the use for "Deadly Force" to protect youself, family, and/or a third party. Excert from Texas 2007-2008 Concealed Handgun Regulations.

(c) A person who has a right to be present at the location where the
deadly force is used, who has not provoked the person against whom
the deadly force is used, and who is not engaged in criminal activity at
the time the deadly force is used is not required to retreat before using
deadly force as described by this section.

It's not that i can't, but yeah I can't. I am supposed to retreat, you know run from my home to preserve my life. What a stupid "f"n law. The upside is that I may use force to defend myself if all other options have been exhausted, ie: yelling at perp, throwing candy and marbles hoping he slips and falls (but doesn't get hurt, Hate to get sued...) oh and sit 'em down and have a little chat about right and wrong.
I can't stand the fact that I have to run from my home as to allow some A-hole to rob me blind. When was the last time breaking, entering and stealing were above the law. I know that s*** is wrong so I just simply don't do it. It has nothing to do with the consequences of the law. Bad people do bad things due to the fact that there are no consequences. I wonder if that would change if all states got smart and adopted the 'ol Castle Doctrine...

Regardless of what you hear there are MILLIONS of us with guns. There enough gun owners to effect ANY election. The politicians suddenly realized this when our new Attorney General started talking about gun bans. The Democrats know they get their butts kicked AGAIN if they start with gun bans and more laws at the national level. However, most of the problems are at the state level and it's going to take effort to either change the attitude or the politicians. Changing the politicians usually takes care of the attitude problem.

I have an Stag Arms Mod 1 (M4) and really like it. I like that SBR you have. Was it very much trouble to get the AOW License? I thought about a SBR but never really moved on it. I have a Kel Tec PLR 16 and a Mossberg 590 that fill my need for an SBR. But, I tell ya that SBR is one nice piece of equipment.

That's bad ass an audi club that goes shooting? Where ill go im in houston, let's share ammo, just kiddin. Sounds great Audi's Guns and Dogs is my deal.

Jeez what's like carrying the Desert Eagle loaded up. I got to hold one at Gander Mountain and the thing was heavy and that was with out the mag.

anyone who enters my house without permission, whether i feel threaten or not will get shot. plain and simple!

here in CT we can use deadly force even if you are not the one in danger. anyone that is around you can be defended with force if they too are threaten.

I carry a S&W SIGMA 40cal that I mounted a holster under the seat for. I tried putting 2 backup clips in the small pocket on the door, but 38 rounds of Winchester SXT was too heavy and it kept popping open when I shut the door. So now they're in the large pocket along with an ASP collapsible baton so I can choose my level of hurt if someone tries something stupid.

I also carry a Taurus PT738 on me for the little jobs.

... I've had my eye on a Ruger P345 .45 with a stainless slide/ barrel with black polymer grip. I don’t know much about gun makes as far as the varying qualities, but I have heard this is a good budget gun for home defense. I plan on carrying it in my car as well so "car defense" I guess you could say... any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

im new to these boards and still new to shooting, i have a mossberg 500 pistol grip with a pistol grip on the front too, just bought a walther p22, and i am paying off my newly purchased armalite m15a4 digital desert camo ar15, all of which are brand new never been shot, just bought the p22 a couple weeks ago and decided i wanted the ar also so im waiting to shoot all of them when i get the ar15 home...should be a fun first day of shooting i think =)

I'm a firearms dealer and Audi owner. I also live in Kansas, a Castle Doctrine state (which was recently extended to renters). That, of course, means that if you are in my house at night and were not invited, you may very well be greeted by an entirely unfriendly piece of dense metal roughly .40 inch in diameter.

Glock 27 fits great in the b7's under-seat drawer and the SPAS 12 sits snug between the bed and nightstand....Audis and guns, ahhh! life is good!

When I live in Texas - one of my coworker bring his AK-47 to work in his truck. Be a good student in school - take me 18 sec to disassembled and 20 to put all back together. :)

But here in Florida If someone is threatening your life in your home or even on the street you have the right to use lethal force to protect yourself/family. :] That's one of the good things about Florida oh and that we have extremely lax Modification laws(or at least extremely lax police officers ;])
