Default x-plug failure -- how soon?

My X-plug on the hydraulic pump is starting to leak; it produces bubbles when the engine is running. What's yr experience with how long I have till it totally fails? I suspect it relates more to hot/cold cycles than miles, but dunno.
Any thoughts?

Call your dealership and just get a replacement plug asap.

Default Try tightening it with a drag link socket. Otherwise buy a new plug and O-ring as

per this post:

Drag link sockets look like a flat blade screwdriver blade on a socket, as shown here:

It's a $5 part that will leak $20 in fluid very quickly. Replace it ASAP. I bought 2 and keep the spare in the trunk.

Make sure u get the new rubber washer, that's the key to make it stop leaking. When I did mine I used a very large flat head to tighten it with a friend twisting at the same time, never had a issue again (about30k later)
