Default Can urS4/S6 run a staggered wheel fitment?

225s in front, 245s in back? Or will it hurt the center diff?

Are you trying to cure an oversteer issue? Better off with some suspension tweaks.

For stock urS, it doesn't matter whether you are trying to make the car look stupid or handle poorly; staggered will do both for you.

Try the camaro forums for more information on staggered.

The center diff can tollerate a small difference in wheel diameter, but it is MUCH better to just run the same size tires at all 4 corners. The difference between a 1/2 worn tire and a new tire is about the max difference in diameter you want to allow. Just put 245's on all the way around and leave the staggered look for the BMW/RWD crowd. A bonus is that you won't look like an idiot to anyone who knows you car is AWD.

This was a topic of conversation over on the Vortex UrS forum. My opinion is that no, you should not.

You can do it, as one poster did, but to what gains? Style?

It's your car, you can do as you like, but there is a reason it doesn't come staggered.
