Front and rear wheel bearing, the same part?
KATE has different par numbers for front and rear but the hubs seems to be the same. It says 43/45mm inner races for rear and only 45mm for front. Can someone tell me if it is or not the same parts?
Also, when installing Bilstein HD, the front bump stops, do I need to modify them to install them or do I simply remove them?
I will be replacing a lot of parts on my UrS and I try to know what I need to before starting the works.
So far I got those parts, most of them allready bought:
Bilstein HD all around
2 lower front arms
2 front swaybar bushings
2 front shocks protective boots
wheel bearings all around
2 rear lower arm bushing (the one most front of the car)
2 front top plates + bearings
2 rear most bushings for the front subframe
all flexible brake lines
If you guys have any advices I would appreciate.

as they say, RTFM. The bump stops for the front shocks are already inside the Bilstein HD so the OEM one must not be installed back.
I still need info for the wheel bearings (:

The part number from my list says 4D0 407 625E, which doesn't show up as a single part for the C4 AAN, but interestingly shows up for the S6+, C5 A6, even the RS2.
The part numbers quoted in ETKA are for the kit, which includes the axle bolt, snap rings (rear) and pinch bolt for the front.
I'm fairly certain that the 625E part is for the bearing only. Its a 82 mm bearing.
Either way, you can order just the bearing or the kit. You can save yourself a few bucks if you order just bearing and re-use the snap rings. If you are doing the CV boots, the axle bolt will come with that kit anyway.

Anyone know how much the parts and time involved in replacing a rear diff and/ or wheel bearing are?
