Hi, new here just picked up a 2006 A4. I'm having a problem with the mfsw buttons that maybe someone can help me out with. First of all, my car does not have navigation, bluetooth, or a secondary cd changer so the "mode" and "talk"buttons have no functions.

OK, so for the most part, the two scroll buttons (one to change radio station, the other to change volume) works morning and night. But I haven't pinned down exactly what the cause is but I think if the car interior gets hot, the buttons stop working. It doesn't matter if the interior cools down as I drive, it just won't work. I initially thought that maybe I pressed a wrong button or maybe I didn't give the car enough time to run through its checks. So I would restart the car and hold off a few seconds before trying the buttons but it still doesn't work. If I park the car under shade or if the temperature outside cools off and then I start it up and try it again, everything is back to normal.

Does this problem sound familiar to anyone? Anyone have maybe a general direction I should start troubleshooting from.
