I have a 2.0T Q 2007 with a Concert I or II, I really don't know. It's not BOSE that's for sure.

I have a brand new Alpine PDX-5 and I want to start with just changing the amp and seeing the result, and after that a new sub and speakers.

What do you think about that?

Since I'm a newbie in the audio industry, is it possible for me to try changing the amp my self or should I let my shop change it for me (100-200USD)?

Also, where in the car is the stock amp placed?

Alpine's lineup of speakers has been as equal as Bose, and has proven to be one of the best car amps around. as for changing amps, try to look at some tutorials first (videos preferred) and study them carefully on that, good luck!
