Spotted this new S4 Avant in Paris last week when I was visiting.. Not a great picture but still shows off what a great looking car it is. It also had the 2 tone red and black interior..


AoA should at least allow us to order these beauties.. I'm hoping common sense will prevail and they will introduce the S4 Avant at a later date.

Here's hoping the wagon fashion will return in the US..

yep, I made the mistake of returning my 6MT 3.2 B7 Avant from lease in the belief that a B8 Avant would be available with MT.....

Lucky bastards I would do anything to get one of these. Ps why is it that they won't make an a4 s line that we could mod? I hate all the bull****. Lets make a bunch of q5's that are lame but **** on the loyal fans of the avant!

I own an 08 A4S and if you add APRs Stage III kit producing 375HP & 352TQ its a beast! If tuned properly and removing excess weight, you can easily compete. Furthermore, if you strenthen the engine internals, you could get 450HP out of that 2.0L (Vast Performance - see link). Not to mention, cruising speeds give superior MPG (at least 28 - 32MPG). Easy relatively inexpensive mods!

Kind of weary of what the new 3.0 Supercharger engine can do..... besides changing the pulley, and ECU tuning, not sure how much more boost you can push the Eaton charger to do. I am sure a larger charger would cost much more than a turbocharger setup and you have to modify the hood to fit it. Still waiting to see what will happen. I was so in love with the B5 setup. No other company can touch the B5 modded 500HP twin turbo quattro 0-60 in 3.5s beast! Just ask my boy Jaybquick.

I think I just soiled myself! Why let the lousy French have these and not us?? Why don't we all just nut up and get the RS6 Avant.

Totally Agree. Lets hope AoA do bring the Avant at a later date but for now its just wait and see. I'd love to understand the cost to them of offering their (loyal) customers the ability to order. For now I'll keep my AllRoad :-) (Which BTW, was supposed to be upgraded to the new AllRoad until AoA killed that model in the US)
