Where did everyone go? I popped on over to the SE Forum to see what's shaken and it's as dead as the flattest cat on the highway

I would tend to agree that it is dying. After being slammed a boatload of times for defending the switch to vB (all because my opinion didn't mean squat due to my account number being high which is proposterous) I was left with a sour taste in my mouth from many of the "community builders" of AW. They all left for Quattro World.com I think. I tend to read RS6.com, Audizine.com, and RS246.com these days. RS6.com is a much smaller community but still a great bunch of folks there.

Personally I think it's better. The old format was, well, old, and not consistant with most other web formats (it's customisable, and that's what makes it better IMO).

I also like the fact that it's more informative, and a lot of the "chat" is gone (please, I mean no disrespect to anyone). I'm new to Audiworld, and this actually put me off.

A google search will find many other sites, and most are now similar to this. QW, IMO, is now the "chat" place for those that like that sort of forum.

yeah, it looks like this site used to. that's what makes it better.

sorry, most of the longstanding member hate this new format. hence why everyone left.
