They forgot to send me bolts, however. When I asked them, they told me to use the OEM bolts which I know isn't true. C'mon guys, for that much $$$$, don't cheap me out and/or be dishonest.
Both RS4raider and Scott61 got bolts!!!
Wow! I'd better crack my piggy bank for those! Nice and sweet indeed Vijay!

congrats!! Yea I didn't get bolts either, they told me that they have all the RS4's use the stock lug bolts and that there is no problem in doing so...
I think it's wrong as well, stock bolts have a "ball" seat while the HRE's are a "cone" seat.
I've been looking for aftermarket bolts that are cone seat with the proper thread length and can use the OEM bolt caps... not much luck yet.

Hottness. Love these wheels, although I would have gone gun-metal finish.

First you need to find out if they are Ball or Cone. Almost impossible to tell just looking. The guys at Autobahn Performance who put mine on could not tell so they called W/B and were told they were ball and my stock would work. So they tried my stock and could only get two threads to engage, They had longer in stock and sold me a set. Since I was reading different things here I sent HRE an email asking, Here is their response:
Scott,
You will need Conical Lug Bolts 14x1.50x27mm on your RS4 Monoblok Wheels

They then told me they would send out a set at no charge. I was still worried because my stock bolts were 27mm long and were to short for the HRE's. But when I got them they went in a good 7 turns. I guess the cone goes farther into the wheel. I know Craig did not like the Chinese bolts they sent, Bolts and nuts are my life and I found the quality of them to be excellent. Also I like that they are polished and no need for those gray caps

You can use cone bolts with a ball seat with no problem. Going the other way....ball bolts in a cone seat will lead to the fitment problem.

The monoblocks come in 3 finishes only: Matte Black/Charcoal, which is like a very dark gunmetal, brushed with clearcoat and silver painted. The Charcoal/gunmetal works if you have the titanium package otherwise it looks out of place. Not something you want to compromise on when you are laying out this much $$$$ on wheels.

H&R makes a bunch of different bolts which should work. Try the 14x1.5 36mm. I have found, actually, that the bolts that came with my MTM 10mm spacers that I am using with the stock wheels will work just fine.

They also come in Charcoal (dark grey) as a standard finish which is what I have. Looks great against Avus Silver :)

The OEM bolts will give you 4 full turns. I ended up using the bolts that came with my MTM 10mm spacers which required 10 turns to fully seat. The ideal bolt would actually be something in-between.
Wheels on today. Will post pics later. They give the car an even beeifer, tighter appearance. It is the perfect wheel for the car in terms of looks and fitment. Too bad one has to spend so much to get a perfect wheel for the RS4, although I did get quite a deal.

Excellent choice in wheels, should be breathtaking on a black car.

Thanks. I thought so too. I had been debating over aftermarket wheels for over a year. Fluffhead had said that it would "come to me". How true. Plenty of wheels looked okay. A precious few looked as good as stock but not better. This is the one wheel, that to my eyes, looks better than stock.
