CAR: 1995 S6

bulb out indicator in the DIS, is there a logical bypass? trying to trick it since the vehicle has euro housings, and hybrid Audi/retrofit H1 HID bulbs in use. all bulbs in car are new, HID ballasts are run on fused fabricated harness and 194 city lights are wired into the one unused circuit with parallel piggyback resistor banks built into each circuit built to mimic the draw of a 55w H1 bulb. original complaint was one HID bulb not on. harness was damaged at ballast, ballast and bulb cooked. ran supplementary harness to cope with additional draw and rebuilt quite a bit wiring, solder and shrink tube to replace some other work.

anyone know of a basic place to tap into with a resistor to trick the system?
brass bulbs in all sockets replaced with all nickle based OSRAM bulbs, ect ect... everything is functioning but i still have a warning lamp.

btw, wasn't sure if this should go under C4 or in the "S" cars since it's not entirely 20v specific. thanks

Your wiring sounds pretty complex, but would something like this work?

Have you tried lobotomizing your double wide bulb monitor relay under the hood in the relay access panel 1? Try to search the f'ed up archives (STFA) ;) as I believe there was a write up about it. I'll take a look at my own files as well but basically you reroute the bulb monitor circuit inside the relay to provide the correct voltage for the minicheck system which it sounds like you may have tried that something similar already. The procedure has worked for quite a few people with HID bulbs. I also got this bulb out beep with stock headlights!, ended up resoldering the whole mini check circuit board. Took it out so many times I was timing myself, hahaha
