I saw a post about getting the inlay retrofitted, but the company only does A4 and A6.

Anyone know of a place that does this for the A5?

I am probably getting the S-line and I am ambivalent about the aluminum inlay.

I saw the Carbon Atlas in the S-5 and loved it.

Any ideas?

TIA

I bet Audi will install the S5 carbon inlays, but the price I bet is quite expensive. Carbon would look so much better. However if I was an S5 owner, I would like to keep that unique feature of the S5.

I will ask them tomorrow.

Finally agreed to give them a $500 deposit on the same color, model and options as your (but with NAV).

They found the car for me and are willing to hold it for 5 weeks while I arrange a large down payment.

Dealer just told me carbon atlas would cost $3,000 for parts alone. That seems insane.

They also said they don't recommend doing it because in the Northeast the temp changes during the seasons could lead to the glue not holding and the pieces popping off.

Anyone else hear these things?
