I bought a preowned '08 A6 4.2 in January. My local Audi dealer ran the VIN. Apparently it does not have Audicare. My dealer told me they can sell it to me for $650.00. They said that the 45,000 mile service is close to that much by itself. So, it seems like a great deal to me but I thought I'd check in with the experts here.
Is Audicare good to have? Is $650 a good deal?
BTW the dealer specifically told me that it is transferrable if I ever sold the car.
Thanks!

well, the 45k mile service can be that much if you let the dealer do it. if you're mechanically inclined you can save yourself the hassle.
audicare gives you oil changes, really. i'm not sure there's a whole lot else included.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not mechanically inclined enough to mess with it. I'm going to confirm with the dealer exactly what is included.

Would you be kind enough to report the info back here as there are other's in your boat. Thanks!
