Acura takes pole - wow!

I don't know what to read into this. The new R15, does it turn in the same lap times as the old R10? If it is new, the Old 908's are still as fast if not faster.

We shall see. Will the change be worth it?

If either Audi or Peugeot wanted pole position, then why didn't their fastest make the qualifying run?

The pole by such a small margin means nothing in a 12 hour endurance race.

I think that if Audi or Peugeot really had wanted the pole they could have had it.

Hope the new R15 is strong and can last the whole race without incidents and goes on to win in its first race like the R10 did.

I don't know. Was Audi running how they will run the race ? Not interested in qualifying? Although pole is a marketing tool. Clear track ahead for a lap or two, not that big a difference in this long a race.

Who knows? Only they know : ) were they mirroring the 908's? Holding something back.

Did they try a different setup and it was just a tick off?

We will find out Saturday. I hope the R15 does well.
