After reading on Audizine that GIAC came out with a DSG Flash I went to GMG in fullerton to get it done. After 5 hours of the GMG tech guy fighting to get the program to load up, Austin from GIAC came himself to get the job done and make it happen. Along with getting the DSG flashed, I had him do the ECU too. He gave me a little demo in my car of what the programs do and it literally scared me, but in a good holy s..t type of way. I only have about half a day driving with the mods in place but so far Im extremly happy. My 3.2 is a new animal now! It has torque for days and shifting at 7200 RPM seems to be where it should of been shifting in the first place. I knew it had more RPMS to be used in that motor. The launch control is bitchen. At 3400rpm it happens smoothly but takes off quickly. I was surprised cause the you tube video of HPA's launch control looks like its soo hard on the car but it also revs up way higher too. Im happy with the way it is. The car is so responsive and torquey now, i love it! The shifting is ridiculously fast now too now. Also the lag in the gas pedal is minimal, now you touch the gas and it's engaging and going. All in all I highly reccomend these mods I feel like its a whole new car now thanks to GIAC.

Sounds awesome. Is your 3.2 a 2006? I checked on the GIAC web site and that is the only year they list for the DSG flash. Does anyone know if it is compatible with a 2007 3.2?

the dsg flash can be customized by giac to have any lc rpm you want
i might be heading to autoscope myself for the dsg/engine flash for my 3.2 to test it back to back with my hpa flash

So I've had it for 1 week now and I love it. The adaptive software from GIAC has now made the shifting wickedly fast like it's on meth. The torque from the 500nm adjustment makes it pull soo nicely. I burned a bran new Audi A4 3.2 on the five in the middle of farm country. That 7200 RPM shift point is sick, at the old 6300 shift point is when it really starts to pull so that extra 1000 rpms are key. The launch control at 3400 is smooth and not hard on the car at all. It could be a higher launch RPM for a more dramatic start but I dont want to beat my car up too much. ALL in all both the ECU flash and the DSG Flash are incredible and Im glad I had the dough to do it. The only other mod I can really ask for is the Haldex controller. Oh yeah I bought the car in april of 2006 and it now has 63,000 miles on it. :)

I did both the ECU and DSG flash a week ago and I'm quite impressed. "A whole new car" is right. I'll be taking it to the track this weekend and plan to ride her hard and put her up wet :)
