My Ipod integration on my '07 S6 failed a few weeks back ("device not recognized") and I finally got into my dealership today. They fault traced it and there was a short in the AMI itself. Replaced the whole unit under warranty but I was stunned to see that the AMI unit is $700+ for the part.

I also had the MMI version updated, which now looks like below. Question: Is this the latest?

hi, just saw this. Yes, 46.10 is latest afaik. I have same.

I have this same version I had to replace my entire MMI console(long story and no i didnt attempt to upgrade myself) so what advantages does this version have over the older version?

To be honest, I haven't noticed any substantive difference.
