Was thinking of an Aimpoint Comp M2 but 4MOA dot seems to big for a weapon with this accuracy. Any suggestions? EOTech? Trijicon?

View Full Version : Looking for optical recommendations that can be used with flip up iron sights on a DPMS LR-308T? It would be a nice thing to have a good optic, with a good field of view, to engage stuff at longer distances. The ELCAN has good eye relief, excelleng glass, 3.4x magnification and a reticle that is calibrated for NATO 7.62 ammo. IMO, it's the perfect choice. If you look hard enough and can wait a little, you should be able to pick up an older, lightly used model for around five or six hundred bucks. walko789 03-16-2009, 07:17 AM Have the DPMS 7.62 "Sportical" and put the Eotech 556.A65 with 3x flip-to-side and love it. Sportical does not have the iron sights and the 3x was enough for me for the price difference to a 4x. |
