It feels like I made a million phone calls to find one in-state. It shipped out from Ruger/his distributor/wherever on Friday. He says it will be in his shop on Wednesday, and it's mine. He quoted me "three and a quarter" so that's not too bad......considering you can't find them anywhere except the bull**** place called Gander Mountain. Eff them.

I've already ordered a crimson trace grip, two extra mags, Pearce finger extensions, Hogue Handall Jr. wraparound rubber grip, and a DeSantis Nemisis holster(not called the nemisis, but it fits the CT grip....just can't remember the model name.)

I'm excited. Hopefully I can find some ammo before then. I've been looking for a few days now and have came up empty handed. I will buy every box of .380 they have....if I can find it.

The LCP and .380 ammo was what the store owner said he couldn't keep in stock.

and i'm (one of the few) that doesn't like handling kahrs

if i DID have interest in that kahr, i'd get a 9mm something for that size and weight instead of a 380

Definitely not much heavier or bigger (though I admit the dimensions don't tell the whole story).

Of course, if you don't like how they handle, that's fine.

There are comparison pics at the bottom.

I like Sigs a lot. However, I'm not convinced I like the idea of an SA pocket gun. Also, how does that compare for size and weight to the Kahr?

but I love the idea of a SA 1911 style .380. The old Mustangs were a personal favorite of mine.
