I have had no problems with .40 and it doesn't bother me to shoot it. It's just that I've started to reduce the number of calibers that I have to stock and if I had to cut one out right now it would be .40.

but it's a 9mm. My next Sig will probably be a 220.

See oneformula's post above, you can put a .357sig barrel in a .40 if you want .357sig.
