that showed up slightly used on a local online classifieds board. It was such a good deal that I didn't have time to research the features very much.
Long story short, I don't like the DAO setup or styling, and would take my West German Sig P226 over the P250 any day. The gun 'rattles' when I shake it, kind of like an old 1911 with worn out bushings, and it just feels cheesy all over.
Examining the old school P226 next to the P250 it's evident that a lot of the styling and form that made the Sig a classic is missing on the P250....things like the complex beveling all around the slide and frame, weight distribution, and general feel. I'm not even motivated to take this to the range before I turn it around find it a new home.
