View Full Version : Wow...another crazy shooting. I can't believe no one tried to stop this guy in Alabama.

Will anyone in the news point out that a single CCW holder could have stopped that guy?

If anything I think it shows that no one can depend on the police for protection even in small towns where everyone knows each other.

Very, very sad.

Amazing how many people think it's the job of the police to protect them...ha!

The Psychos are the worse..
Only way to even have a chance of limiting the damage would be have more civilians armed.

Cops let that guy run for at least 20 minutes.

How else do you explain a Glock jamming after 4 shots?

Dunno about you but unless my family or myself are in danger I'm not jumping in to stop that guy. I'm getting the **** away from him as fast as possible. You might be the watchdog for the sheep but I'm the ****ing jack rabbit leaving town.

I'd definately jump into the fray if I saw this guy mowing down women and kids.

like a school or daycare thing, but women can carry guns and pull triggers as well as any man. For the most part though, I'm getting the **** out not jumping in. I don't get paid to be a hero. My family does not get a big insurance check when I get shot at the 7/11.

They protect us by providing a deterrent. That deterrent is becoming less and less effective due to PC policies (no pursuit), downsizing and revolving door judicial systems.

The fact that any of them do what they do for what they get paid and the "respect" they get from the MSM and bleeding hearts is amazing. I have the highest respect for anyone that dons a uniform every morning be it blue or camo.

My dad and I have had lots of conversations about what's happened and what's likely to happen. If it really hits the fan on a big scale, I would imagine that most cops are going to protect their own first and foremost. Anything after that is optional. Example: many departments are issuing chem/bio gear but what cop is going to don a chem bio suit and pull riot control duties after an attack for a whopping $15 an hour?

Most of the cops I still keep in touch with and many of the ones my dad works with are all stocking up on ammo and weapons and have been doing so for a few months. Some were prospecting with potenital ban items and others are just wanting to get it while they can.
