I've test driven the 2.0T and 3.2 A4's and found that the 2.0 is a much more spirited drive. Since the S5 is out of my price range and the lease terms on the A5 are so poor, I think the A5 2.0T would be the best possible choice for me.

Any plans that you know of for that model config to be available?

Do you know about the 3.0 tdi? Isn't 2010 the model year for a mid-life upgrade?

I have not seen anything in AoA's plans for a TDI A5. I would venture to say that it is not very likely, given the A5's position in the lineup. I would be on an A6 TDI before an A5.
