They've been touting this new car as lighter than the old but if you go to Audi's website the 3.2 A4 weighs in at 3827lbs. My '04 S4 weighs 3825. I suspect that the S4 will weigh about the same as the 3.2 A4 if not a little more.

The car has grown considerably in every dimension and to keep the same weight in an era of cars ballooning in weight should be taken as it weighing less lol.

If only they could make it 3200lbs, with 333/324 and DSG it would be an unbelievalbe car.
