there will probably be an RS 4 based on the new B8 A4 platform after the RS 5 and/or RS 6 are discontinued.

The article says "no RS4 sedan," clearly leaving the door open for another round of avant only RS4 goodness.

This allows NAFTA importation of a sporting audi wagon, considering that the S4 avant will not come stateside.

The RS4 avant will feature a 6spd manual with buttons back on the non-descript radio head unit, rather than surrounding the entire circumference of the stick.

AoA will also lower the price to 2001 (S4) MSRP in response to DJIA and USD:EU adjustments this week.

Well...maybe just those LAST two parts might be stretching it a little.
