Here's the email from John Horner that was sent to all the chapter reps on August 11, 2008. If there was any question remaining about shenanigans, this should resolve it.

To All ACNA Chapter Representatives,

Our president, Dean Treadway, has asked me to send you the information in this email. Dean is driving back to California from an Audi event in Colorado, so he is unable to communicate easily from the road.

There has been some confusion about the deadlines for submission of Audi Club board nominations and resumes to the ACNA National office.

My purpose is to let you know that the deadline is the traditional one of August 15. Your board confirmed that date this weekend.

Please be sure that all nominations and resumes are emailed to Karen Chadwick, our executive director, at karen@audiclubna.org.

Since each of the excluded candidates got their papres inbefore the 15th they should be on the ballot.

This election *has* to be recalled, if only because National itself screwed up!
