And don't bring any loaded weapons to the training.

The training is designed to meet the requirement for getting the permit, but it will not provide you with everything you need to know about your state laws. If a book exists for your state gun laws, you should get a copy and read it. Like CC Rider said, just pay attention and you'll be fine. If it's an NRA class, there will be a multiple choice test at the end, with very obvious answers.

and was going over the requirements i could not believe how easy it was.. i asked why is it so east.. he replied" its designed to allow an 80 year old lady to be able to pass" just thought it interesting comment.. makes sense though..
