Im thinking of building a Storm room/Gun Room.

Reloading bench, some Milling Equipment and a few gun safes. I've started getting into making my own guns

6 foot pad for such bunker to be built with equally thick roof. door to be machined out of titaniaum.

natural gas power supply, venting for fresh air, enough storage to live for 2 months. gunslits optional.

The City I live in, might not let me build any larger of a house for my land size.... So I need to permit this as a storm shelter and maybe they'll buy that.

If I do 8" solid CMU walls and a 6" concrete lid, it should be rated for Tornados which will be nice.

And I could store a few guns in there.

I am hoping to build my next home. I was also hoping to build a brick enclosed room in one corner of the basement. Gun lockers, reinforced metal or vault type door, and a ventilation system. I've always wanted to hang 50 or 75 feet of culvert off of one of the exterior walls. Personal indoor range FTW.

The guy poured an addition onto the foundation and made the hole just wide enough for a vault door my buddy had spec'd out. The thing is 12'x24' and is PACKED with guns. Guns on shelves/tables/racks/empty wall space, everywhere. Gawd only knows how many weapons he's got, but he's probably better armed than most small, African countries.

I wish I had put one in when I built my house.
